Daisy Merey, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.A.F.P., is a physician who has specialized in Bariatric Medicine for 27 years. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, a member and diplomat of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and a past Trustee of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (1997 - 1999). She has been president of the Women Physicians of Palm Beach County from 1996 to the present and former International President of the International Academy of Bariatric Physicians (1985 - 1986). Born in Morocco, she now resides in West Palm Beach, Florida with her husband, John Merey, M.D. They have a son, Andrew, a daughter, DeAnne, and three grandchildren, Alec, Mikala and Peter.
